Kolkata: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has extended the last date to submit applications for its 2025 admissions to April 13, 2025, which was previously scheduled for April 10, 2025. Aspiring candidates can apply for undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses through the official website, admissions.jmi.ac.in.

According to the university's notice, the application correction window will be open from April 14 to 15, 2025, allowing registered candidates to make necessary changes before the final submission.

In a recent development, JMI inaugurated a Centre of Excellence for Professional Skill Development at the University Polytechnic. The event was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif, along with prominent academicians, industry leaders, and students.

After the JMI entrance exam 2025 results are declared, the university will release the merit list of selected candidates. The selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam, interview (if applicable), and group discussion for certain courses.

Once the first merit list is published on the official JMI website, eligible candidates will be called for the JMI counselling process 2025. Only those who qualify in the JMI entrance exam 2025 with the required cut-off marks will be allowed to participate.
